The SOCRI LIMITED group has now been active in the United States for five years and, through its subsidiary KOQIO, has today finalised the acquisition of a fourth plot of land in Miami for the development of a new luxury villa reflecting the French art of living.
SOCRI LIMITED, headed by Nicolas Chambon, develops projects that are unique in Europe, like the forthcoming redesign of the “Fontvieille” urban shopping centre in Monaco.
The company, a creator of exceptional places, has offices in Luxembourg, Paris, Monaco and Montpellier.
5 years ago, alongside its activities as a commercial property company in Europe, SOCRI LIMITED entered the fast-growing luxury residential market in Miami with the ambition of bringing its culture of excellence in public space design to this new market, as it had with its previous projects.
Pierre-Antoine, the Group’s Managing Director, adds: “For us, this is a complementary activity that’s consistent with our operations in France. We share the same goal of creating exceptional places. Developing luxury villas in the United States has also had a highly beneficial counter-cyclical effect for the group. While COVID raised questions about the value of French commercial assets, the property value of our investments in the United States has literally exploded, offering the group new financial potential.”
KOQIO purchased its first piece of land on the Venetian Islands in Miami Beach on 30 August 2018 to develop an ultra-luxury villa of more than 500 m², which is currently under construction and will be delivered in 2024. The group has since acquired two additional plots of land on the Treasure Islands.
Socri limited continues to expand in the ultra-luxury residential market in Miami
KOQIO is continuing to expand with the purchase of a fourth prestigious site in Miami. This new plot of over 1,100 m², with 21 m of waterfront, will surround a house with over 800 m² of living space. Located at 1350 S Venetian Way on the exclusive island of San Marco, this residence reflecting the French art of living will meet the growing demand for very high-end properties in Miami. Its southerly aspect will enable its future owners to enjoy the sunrise over South Beach and the sunset over Miami Downtown. A private dock will provide exclusive, direct access to Biscayne Bay. This acquisition is the group’s largest to date in Miami and will be its boldest project yet.
Nicolas Chambon, Chairman of the SOCRI LIMITED group, declared: “We are proud of this new acquisition, which benefits from an unrivalled location and advantages, and strengthens our presence on the Miami property market. Our aim is to offer exceptional homes that meet the expectations of a demanding international clientele in terms of service, comfort and design. The ‘French-style’ design, layout, decoration and finishes will make this project a unique home for its future owners. We paid particular attention to the location and orientation of the land in order to maintain the high standards and ambition of this project.”
The acquisition of this fourth plot demonstrates the group’s dynamic approach to Miami and its commitment to creating exclusive, luxury properties there over the long term. This unique project is now possible because KOQIO has improved its processes, gained expertise, built up a solid team of partners and tested its working methods with current projects.
KOQIO is now stepping up its growth on the luxury residential market on the other side of the Atlantic, which is becoming a pillar of the group’s high-margin business.
